CWIA presenting Contrasts in Command 1861-1865 featuring the headquarters of notable generals in the Eastern Theater including the September 1862 HQ of Major General George B. McClellan. CWIA presenting Major General Phil Sheridan & Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant encamped at the park visitors center. Sailor's Creek Battlefield Website April 12 - 13, 160th of Surrender at Appomattox Court House, VA. An annual National Park Service (NPS) sponsored LH event. Commemorating the April 9th, 1865, surrender of the Army of Northern Virgina. Host approved CWIA impressions alongside Lincoln's Generals and other invited organizations.
